Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad

This is a second-grade project about the life and accomplishments of Harriet Tubman, highlighting her work on the Underground Railroad. The Web site comes from a second-grade class that which studied Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad and became inspired to create this project. This is a fine example of young students developing and producing a class project for other students to enjoy.

This is an online Internet hunt. Users must follow the story of Captain Dave and answer questions about pirates along the way. This site comes from a public library in Pennsylvania. This is the Web site supporting a project designed to deliver 1 million folded paper cranes to the Children's Monument in the Peace Park in Hiroshima, Japan.
