Mission Library Technology Division (LibTech). This new division provides a place within CAL for those interested in cultivating and sharing innovative technology in libraries. LibTech is open to any CAL member with interests in technology in libraries regardless of technical expertise. If you are interested in learning about emerging technologies, networking with other library technologists, or assisting in developing best practices for new technologies in libraries, this is a division for you!
Tabatha Farney, Nina McHale, and Aspen Walker, are the founders of the CAL Library Technology Division. We are currently drafting bylaws for LibTech and more information will be available soon.
