The primary mission of the CAL Readers' Advisory Interest Group is to foster interest in readers' advisory and to help librarians improve their readers' advisory skills. Secondarily, the group will assist librarians in the promotion of literature and reading in their communities. In support of this mission, the Readers' Advisory Interest Group will provide continuing education to members and create opportunities for members to share information and resources.
