CAL Conference
Power On: Avenues to the FutureWe are so excited about this year's conference. Our theme this year is all about looking to the future of libraries. It is sure to be full of supportive information and exciting new trends for Libraries - all kinds of libraries. And two of the hottest topics right now are 2.0/technology resources and fundraising strategies. We are featuring many programs and workshops on economics and fundraising this year. A new feature to the conference is the "Technology Petting Zoo" where you can get an introduction to many of the latest trends in online resources and software for your library. Be sure to check out the schedule of workshops and look for the Technology Petting Zoo Schedule near the exhibits area at the conference. Your conference chair for 2009 is Stacy McKenzie of the Jefferson County Public Library, Lakewood; co-chair (and chair for 2010) is Stephen Sweeney of the St. John Vianney Seminary Library, Denver.
Conference Workshop HandoutsBefore, during or after the 2009 CAL Conference, attendees, presenters and all interested parties may access workshop handouts posted by the presenters. Handouts are arranged alphabetically by workshop title for each day of the conference. (Not every presenter will choose to post their handouts to the conference website.)
