Reading Maps How-To

Information Packet

Readers’ Advisory gurus and Reading Map magicians Joanna Nelson and Krista Meier from Pikes Peak Library District will cover everything you need to know to get started creating your own reading maps, including recommended tech needs and best practices. Then, there will be time for guided practice to start creating your own reading map. A reading map is an online tool that allows you to make whole collection recommendations centered around one popular title or theme. For samples, see the reading maps created at PPLD: http://ppld.org/reading-maps/all.
