All CATS Division members are invited to attend this fun and informative meeting.

In honor of Estes Valley Library’s previous Storytime Exchanges in years past, we will be having a mini Storytime Idea Exchange as well as a Tween and Teen Program Idea Exchange concurrently for those of us who work with the older crowd.

If you would like to share something at one of these (or both!) breakout sessions; and we hope you all will share something, no matter how small, please send a brief note to Nicole Burchfield, Chair Elect, so she can give you the details– nburchfield@poudrelibraries.org.

After our breakout sessions you will be able to enjoy lunch at one of the many nearby restaurants in beautiful Estes Park.  Then back to work!  Although, most people would consider seeing the magic show, “Murdock’s Magical Delights”, and learning a few up-close magic tricks to use yourself would be more fun than work is allowed to be!  Here’s a little more info to tempt you:

“You’re sure to be amazed at the sleight of hand tricks and crack up at the silly antics during master magician Doc Murdock’s performance.  Following his short performance we’ll learn some Up-close Magic.  We'll learn coin, rope and card tricks from a professional magician. Amaze your friends and family and astound your library patrons!”

After a tour of the library, we’ll then hear from our esteemed Colorado State Library representative, Beth Crist, before closing out our wonderful day.

It will be a great day in a beautiful place where you can learn a lot, share your successes, and network with colleagues from around the area.  We hope to see you there!
